St-Ursus Cathedral
Solothurn
The Cathedral of St. Ursus, designed by architects Gaetano Matteo Pisoni and Paolo Antonio Pisoni, was built between 1762 and 1773. The interior of this important early classical building of light Jura limestone is well worth seeing, as is the facade of the imposing staircase and the view from the 66 metre-high-tower.
